Warp painted and woven with coated copper. Sometime I add pleats as an extra dimension to the work, depending on lighting pieces have some shimmer.
Woven and painted top, appliqued under layer, which you see through transparent weave.
This is experimental series of work woven with paper materials.
This series is woven with double beam loom.
Hand dyed with shibori method. I use layers of silk to create the collage and stitching to emphasize the design. These pieces are framed with off white mat and UV-Guard glass.
I start with a white fabric and create my own patterns mostly with dyes and sometime with paints. I like the challenge of color combinations in my quilts.
